Happy Memorial Day

Ella turned 4 months old this Memorial Day weekend. Last Memorial Day we just found out I was pregnant, where did the year go? Ella is still a very good sleeper and eater, she loves her rice cereal. Another milestone, Ella rolled over from her back to her stomach last Thursday for me! She's only done it once, but that counts right? She's also laughing a lot more and she likes to stick out her tongue, which is a result of eating w/ a spoon I think.

We went back to Mallard for Memorial Day and had a great long weekend w/ grandma and grandpa Sadler and Aunt Emilie. We also saw lot's of other family, that's the great thing about mom & dad being from the same town!

Here are some pictures I snapped of Ella lounging on Memorial Day!

Ella loves her rice cereal!

Cereal!
We started Ella on rice cereal this week and she loves it! She has been eating more and more (milk) @ daycare so we decided to try the cereal. She's been sleeping through the night for months now so I thought instead of feeding her cereal at night I'd feed her in the mornings. She's not the best napper so I thought maybe she'd sleep better @ daycare and not go through so much milk! It seems to be working...

Ella's Baptism - May 3, 2009

Ella Margaret was baptized on Sunday, we had a beautiful day! She did so good, only cried when I handed her to the priest - naked! She stopped crying as soon as he put her in the water though! My sister Emilie and her husband Patrick and Ben's sister Megan were Ella's godparents and she got a lot of really nice gifts - thank you everyone! She is a very blessed little girl and so are we to have such a healthy, happy, beautiful baby. Here are picture's back @ our house after the baptism.

Ella's 1st week @ daycare

Ella has been doing great @ daycare, which makes it a lot easier on me! She loves Sherri, our daycare provider and her son Dominic who is 8 months old. We love it b/c those are the only 2 kids so Ella gets hands on personal care and attention. We can tell that she's going to learn so much, they do lots of activities every day. We get a little report each day that tells us when she slept and ate and how much and how she was feeling that day, which have all been happy :) as well as what activities they did for the day. Sherri also started Ella in her Jumperoo so I put ours together yesterday and she loves it! Although she can barley touch the ground she still knows how it's supposed to work by watching Dominic and she gets her feet moving, it's so cute! Here are some pictures that Sherri has sent me of Ella at work, I love getting these it makes my day! Enjoy ~
